I recomend this self massger over some of the others available because of the additional knobs on the unit. I am a former massage therapist and know the proper way and space to place pressure. This does not approach with any directions on how to employ it, you just acquire to experiment with it and figure out what feels excellent. It does acquire to spots you can"t acquire to on your own normaly if you don"t acquire some one to massage your back for you. It also feels really excellent on the feet. There are two kind of knobs on this one is round and one has a sharper point to acquire more intense pressure. I gave it a 4 and not a 5 stars because it doesn"t approach with any directions. A video would be even better.

A friend of mine turned me onto these. Saw it in his house and thought it was some kind of torture device. Once he clarified how it worked though, and I was able to employ it, I was sold.

I workout a lot and often acquire stiffness in my back. I acquire massages on a regular basis, but sometimes I need something NOW! Got one of these things and it helps me out considerably. For me, not as excellent as a professional, but it keeps me pain-free (more or less) until I can acquire on the table of my therapist.

The one downside to this product is the size. It"s not portable, so if you want one for more than a single location, you"ll probably need to buy more than one. I need one for my office, which is what lead me to see here. This is a excellent price, by the way.

I admire this self-massage tool! It has many knobs, allowing you to manipulate to all body parts needing massage. You acquire to control the depth of the massage by using the convenient handles. Does what it says but item shipped was not fresh

I am a 35 year ancient female, and acquire been practicing sports for most of my life. But, I acquire a chronic upper back pain that is due to the incorrect curvature of my neck (as a chiropractor said), and a bike accident three years ago might acquire contributed to it. I tried many things including buying a fresh bed but the pain is still there. It is worst in the mornings, and seems to alleviate with exercise and hot showers. Until now I was using two tennis balls to stretch my spine,by laying face up and rolling them back and forth along the sides of the spine. This does a pretty excellent job, apart from it is uncomfortable and you cannot lay down in this position for too long. I tried a chiropractor a couple of years ago, which was fantastic, but could not afford it on a regular basis. The excellent thing about going to the chiropractor is that I learned that a realignment of the vertebrae can acquire a excellent effect instantaneously and it can even chase absent migraines. More than one time I walked in her office tired and numb from pain and left 15 min later with lots of energy, a clear intellect and no pain at all.

I"ve ordered the spineworx device because I"ve been looking for an alternative to going for a chiropractor for a number of years now. I"ve seen it gets all these excellent reviews , and I can say it is right. It does the job, and it does it well.I remember I used to feel dizzy after the chiropractor treatment - the excellent kind of dizziness - and tingling in the spine and it is the first time after the chiropractor that I had the same sensation when I got up from this device. It stretches and separates the vertebrae and releases the pressure they exert on the nerves. It does the headache trick too, try laying down on it when you acquire the next headache.

I just used it once so I cannot say anything about long term effects.

Cons: it is hard to relax on it, but I can"t imagine any alignment device that would be comfortable. Being in a warm room and with a blanket underneath would assist, I guess.

It doesn"t approach with any instructions, and although it may sound foolish (just lay down on it !) I would really like to know how to position my lower back on it, since I am a small person (5"1) and I can"t imagine how myself and a 6"2 person can employ the device in the same way.

I wish it had some attachment for the neck so that the neck and spine acquire aligned together. I ordered a dogbone pillow too and I"m plotting to sleep with it, but the alignment action will not be simultaneous for neck and spine.

And last but not least, I wish they had sent me a fresh item, since it is advertised as fresh. This one has obviously been used because the surface is buffed and scratched in a few places. It doesn"t see like it has sagged or anything, but paying for a fresh item and receiving a used one doesn"t feel excellent.

Overall, I am very pleased with the concept (if not the actual item) and I am very confident I can acquire rid of my back pain now.

I spend 9-14 hour days in front of the computer at work, and my back gets very stiff, all the way from the lower back up to the neck. I employ this device for 5 mins after work, and would hear a gentle crack or two nearly every time. I am 5"2", and the length of it is just correct for me. My husband is 5"9", and wishes it"d be slightly longer, but he is still fairly pleased with the results.

Although it is not recommended to plod while lying on the device, after lying still and really relaxed on it for a couple of minutes, I do gently shift my weight from one side to another, bend legs in the knees / raise torso, and slide up/down to acquire more pressure on desired areas. Now, I do not acquire any major back problems, so I do not acquire any issues aligning my spine and overall do not feel any discomfort.

When I took it out of the box, I thought I"d been duped. But after using it just three times, it gave me back relief. My back would damage when I was on my back in bed, and cause my arms and legs to go numb.

If you are older, I"d propose you place it near something to employ to acquire up off the floor! I place it in front of my sofa.

Best money I"ve spent on back care! I"m seeing my 3rd chiropractor in 10 years. I"ve been going to my current chiro for nearly 10 sessions. I got some relief but paying $50 per session. I saw this in the Skymall catalog during a plane trip and finally chose to acquire one after reading other"s reviews. I"m glad I did!

Can anyone recomend a good back support pillow or device for my chair at work?
I am very big chested and as such, my posture is lousy, causing great pain and tension in my upper back and shoulders. I need a good pillow or something to force my back and chest out while I sit at work. I exercise everyday, and keep in good health, but it is just not enough. Can any recommend a specific brand that helps with upper back pain?
